GED Connection

GED Connection combines 39 integrated, half-hour video programs and workbooks which accommodate students with a variety of learning styles and life styles and enable students to learn at their own pace. Open-captioned videos of all GED Connection episodes are now available at all Workforce Learning Link sites to accommodate hearing-impaired learners.

The videos and correlating workbooks cover all five subject areas: Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. The documentary-style videos introduce the subject material and give students a chance to hear from experts in various fields. Students can hear and see how the skills they are learning relate to work, home, and community life. Each workbook chapter corresponds to a video program and contains a pretest, a practice test, an answer key with explanations, a reference handbook, a glossary, and an index.
