very earnest view of civil rights and Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. with thoughts on what has, or has not, been
accomplished both in the past and presently. Guests

- 10/26/99 - Ghana - This program chronicles executive
producer Linda Coles visit to Ghana, West Africa
for the fifth African-African American Summit. Led by
the Reverend Leon Sullivan, these summits address issues
such as economic development, education, and healthcare.
And the ultimate goal is to strengthen the relationship
between Africans and African Americans. Included are
highlights from the actual summit, a visit to a Ghanaian
pre-school, and an eye clinic struggling to provide
quality healthcare. Coles also joins the host in the
studio to further discuss her experience. Guests - H.

where were headed. Highlights from that panel
discussion are the basis for this program. Panelists
give their views on, and experiences with, civil rights,
and raise questions about this countrys continuing
