SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Add Your Family to the NJN online American Family Album!

Share your family picture and story with NJN Web site visitors and television viewers, as well as PBS American Family viewers and visitors nationwide! Be a part of NJN's online American Family Album here on this Web site. Here's how:

1. Select an ideal PHOTO of your family or one that defines a moment in your life. Photos submitted electronically must be either tif, jpeg, or pict formats.

2. Prepare 200 WORDS OR LESS to accompany your photo. Possibilities include...

• Description of your photo and the people in it.
• A short story or anecdote concerning your family.
• Summary of your family's heritage, culture, interests.
• Brief explanation of what makes your family special -- a traditional or nontraditional "American Family."

3. Include your FAMILY NAME, your FIRST NAME, and the CITY in which you live along with the following text: "I authorize NJN to include my work on njn.net as it wishes. I certify that I am at least 18 years of age and own the rights to the work."

4. Please include a signed release form with your submission.

5. Forward your submission to us as follows, and watch for your family's arrival in NJN's online American Family Album!
