and organizations that help students
find and understand jobs in the
trades, or alternative career paths.
NJ PLACE is one organization that
helps those students get the most
exposure to these jobs. Ironworkers
also have an apprentice program
that will help students understand
the best way to get jobs in this
trade, too.

Carpenter Contractor Trust (NJCCT)
is a labor/management trust established
by the Building Contractors Association
of New Jersey, Drywall and Interior
Systems Contractors Association,
Associated General Contractors
of New Jersey, and the New Jersey
Regional Council of Carpenters
of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters
and Joiners of America. The trust
was created to preserve, identify
and expand employment opportunities
for Union Carpenters and their
employers
