Reflections of War
The Vietnam War was one of the most divisive periods in American history. Reflections of War reveals the personal stories of men and women who served during the conflict. Reflections of War also traces the steps of "The Last Patrol". In 1989, this group of fourteen veterans marched from Washington, DC to Holmdel, New Jersey to raise awareness of the need for a New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The success of their efforts and those of numerous volunteers culminated in the dedication of a New Jersey Memorial in 1995. Original broadcast 1998.

Fortunes in Furs
For centuries, the Lenape Indians lived on the land that would become New Jersey. However, their way of life began to change in 1609 when Henry Hudson explored the Atlantic shoreline. Anticipating potential fortunes from the fur trade, the Dutch established the colony of New Netherland. They soon came into conflict with the Lenape, and then with the English and the Swedes, who also sought control of the region. The program ends with the 1664 English conquest of New Netherland.
