When the curtain rose at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center’s Victoria Theater on May 26, forty-two participants from new York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida took the stage in one of the most highly-acclaimed talent search competitions in the tri-state area. The talented hopefuls brought the audience to standing ovations with emotional songs, mesmerizing dance moves and elaborate instrumental solos. In this year’s competition, past winners of the Showcase who have excelled in the world of entertainment appear as guest hosts, judges and invited performers.

The television broadcast, as well as this year’s competition at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, is dedicated to the Showcase’s 20 years of celebrating and honoring the hard work and talent of Hispanic children. Willie Sanchez is the Executive Producer.
