This Images/Imagenes episode is jampacked with music, dance and theater. First, we catch up with Allison Trujillo Strong, a three-time Hispanic Youth Showcase champion who joined stage and television star John Stamos in the Broadway musical Bye Bye Birdie. We also follow the success of another Showcase champion, Yanira Marin, who performed in the Broadway production of West Side Story and went on tour around the world as a dancer for megastar Beyonce. Adding further spice to this talented line-up is Peru Negro, one of the world's best dance ensembles. They perform traditional Afro-Peruvian dances. And finally, we explore the essence of dance with segments from the highly acclaimed documentary When the Spirits Dance Mambo produced by Marta Moreno Vega.
