Images/Imagenes reporter Mara Sanchez is an actress, Latin Jazz singer and journalist. She has appeared in off-Broadway productions and television soap operas including All My Children. For Images/Imagenes, Mara covers major events in New York and New Jersey that highlight the artistic achievement of Latinos. |

I’ve been studying music since I was seventeen years old. This is a wonderful opportunity to Showcase my vocal skills.”

Jazmine Brinkley
 "I love jazzy cars, especially if they are eye catching and timeless. Hello everyone I am Jazmine Brinkley, a Puerto Rican from Jackson New Jersey, the home of Six Flags Great Adventure. My goal in life has always been to make my family feel proud. I like to travel in style and pay a tribute to great singers like Selena. Her song “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” led me to win the NJN Hispanic Youth Showcase as a junior vocalist at age 10.”

Arlene Ng - Winner
 “I love classic cars. My name is Arlene Ng of Colombian, Dominican and Chinese heritage. I am the first six time winner of the NJN Hispanic Youth Showcase and a participant on the international show Objetivo Fama. You may also recognize me as the weather reporter for Univision’s local news in Washington D.C. Now take a moment to enjoy my favorite songs on the Road to Stardom.”

Sarah Christian
 “Saludos, I am Sarah Christian from North Bergen, NJ. And, I love to sing Christian songs. My family is originally from Ecuador and India. They were thrilled when I won the NJN Hispanic Youth Showcase in 2007 and then traveled to Nicaragua to sing as part of my Christian ministry. My goal in life is to become a role model for young adults.”
