HIV/AIDS is Still Alive (3215)
 There is a misconception among
the youth that HIV AIDS is no longer a danger to them. Thus, a new generation,
sparked by a new sexual revolution, explicit music, videos, television shows
and movies, is lowering its guard. Today, HIV AIDS is on the rise in the
teen population yet very little media coverage is being given to expose the
danger of unsafe sex. Why?
With the help of Dr.
Wanda Figueroa, Infectious Disease Specialist, UMDNJ (left) and Alvaro
Vargas, Director of CURA’s Management AIDS Department (right),
this program takes a look at the sexual trends of the generation that ignored
the warning signs.
