"Animal Care and Safety Workshop"

NJN's Homeless Tails host and producer Sandy Levine presented a workshop at Port Monmouth Road School in Keansburg promoting literacy, kindness and safety around animals.

Lucy, a 7-year-old hound mix and Ellen La Torre (standing, right) of the Monmouth County SPCA in Eatontown showed second grade students how to safely approach and pet a dog.
