a special edition of Due Process featuring an in-depth
discussion with Michael Chertoff, Assistant Attorney
General, U.S. Department of Justice and Chairman of
the Bush Administration's 9/11 Task Force.
On this edition,
Chertoff, whose personal and law enforcement roots are
in New Jersey, discusses the policies of The Patriot
Act, the President's military order, and other new Department
of Justice regulations.
Issues discussed
during the interview, taped in NJN's Trenton studios,
include racial and ethnic profiling, new definitions
of terrorism, free speech, military tribunals, and the
interception of attorney/client conversations.
