Drugs:
Re-Examining Public Policy (#502)
Drugs, even
hard drugs, they continue to be out of control. While
law enforcement hasn't come close to winning the war
on drugs, the picture of the typical drug user has changed
too. And so, controversial calls for a change in public
policy have increased too.
Decriminalization?
Legalization? Tougher drug laws? This edition of Due
Process will bring together two major New Jersey
leaders, Brendan Byrne, former Governor, prosecutor
and judge; and Robert DelTufo, former US Attorney and
State Attorney General, to talk about whether it's time
for new answers.
The show
will begin with a video portrait of a Harvard graduate
turned heroin addict who has written a book that tells
her story.
Guests:
Brendan Byrne
Former Governor, prosecutor and judge
Robert DelTufo
Former US Attorney and State Attorney General
