Show #17Ridgewood Jamboree - Parents of Ridgewood High School show their support of their children’s education by performing at the annual Ridgewood Jamboree! More than 100 parents stage a full-scale, original musical with the proceeds going to college scholarships. Parents have been putting on this production for 50 years, bringing a whole new meaning to parental involvement.

Hoops Against Cancer - The Park Ridge High School girls' basketball team is participating in a North Jersey Breast Cancer Basketball Challenge. Teams from seven surrounding high schools will be participating in the regional tournament. The goal is to educate the 150 participating student-athletes about breast cancer.

A Surgeon’s Story - Neurosurgeon Dr. Lee Buono visits his eighth grade Medford Township Memorial School science teacher to thank him for inspiring him to become a doctor. In the 80s, Albert Siedlecki taught Dr. Buono how to dissect a frog’s brain. Nearly 20 years later, he’s saving lives.

Tech Showcase – A highlight of the 2008 NJEA Convention was the Technology Integration Showcase, which promotes 21st Century technology tools for public schools. Teachers Kevin Jarrett from Northfield Community School and John Kline from Norwood Elementary School demonstrate the tools they use in their schools.
