Children
Designing & Engineering - Students at Spruce
Run School in Clinton Township are putting on a play
with shadow boxes. While it seems that this is just
a project for fun and entertainment, it actually integrates
some complicated math, science and technology skills.
This is a Children Designing & Engineering project
created by the College of New Jersey in collaboration
with the New Jersey business community. For more information,
go to http://www.childrendesigning.org/.
EIRC - The Educational Information
and Resource Center is a public agency specializing
in programs and services for teachers, parents and schools
throughout New Jersey. EIRC Executive Director Charles
Ivory explains how the center supports teachers and
motivates students. EIRC also conducts workshops and
exhibits at the NJEA Convention on programs ranging
