Challenger - Special education students from Montgomery
Township schools have formed a Little League baseball
team. Teachers help organize and high school students
volunteer as baseball buddies. With parents help and
support, this competition is a positive and memorable
experience for everyone.
MARE
- The entire school of Oxycocus Elementary in Manahawkin
transforms into a giant ocean during the Marine Activities
Resources and Education celebration. From jellyfish
to turtles, the students become part of the ocean and
perform songs, dances and readings for their parents
and guests.
Project
Thank You - What does respect and kindness mean
to young children? The students at James Madison Primary
School in Edison Township can explain. They are learning
all about it as part of "Project Thank You,"
which combines character education with literacy. This
program is funded through a grant from the NJEA Frederick
L. Hipp Foundation for Excellence in Education.

Safety - What is the purpose of a police officer
in a public school? We'll talk to a detective with the
Ewing Township Police Department who is assigned to
work at Ewing High School. Learn how to make schools
safer for all students and school employees.
