Known as New Jersey's premiere black theatre,
Crossroads Theatre Company is faced with a struggle
for survival. After canceling preview performances,
a press conference was held to announce the theatre's
financial troubles and restructuring plans to
handle the substantial debt. NJN's arts correspondent
reports on the press conference. Then guests in
the studio discuss what Crossroads means to NJ,
its efforts to get out of debt, and how others
can show their support.
