Census
2000 (1302)
The failure to accurately count a state's population
can seriously affect its federal funding. This
program examines the upcoming Census and its goal
to try to reach "everyone." We focus
on those who have been repeatedly undercounted,
why this happens, and how that effects the outcome
of the census. We also encourage people to fill
out their census forms by discussing what to expect,
and additional steps taken by the bureau to ensure
everyone does.
