Ghana (1301)
This
program chronicles executive producer Linda Coles'
visit to Ghana, West Africa for the fifth African-African
American Summit. Led by the Reverend Leon Sullivan,
these summits address issues such as economic
development, education, and healthcare. And the
ultimate goal is to strengthen the relationship
between Africans and African Americans. Included
are highlights from the actual summit, a visit
to a Ghanaian pre-school, and an eye clinic struggling
to provide quality healthcare. Coles also joins
the host in the studio to further discuss her
experience.
