Youth
Violence (1228)
This program takes a look at violence among youth.
Recent school shootings have been a wake-up call
for educators and others, and has led to national
dialogue on ways to prevent violence in our schools.
Studio discussion is based on the outcome of a
statewide summit on youth violence conducted by
the Violence Institute of New Jersey to talk about
the problem from a teen perspective. Brought on
by the Columbine incident teens give their views
on what needs to be done to "Stop the Violence"
in schools.
Guests - Jen Mackey, Allentown HS-Summit Participant
- Ty-Quan Perry, Allentown HS, Summit Participant
- Dr. Michael Greene, Executive Director, Violence
