Paul Robeson & the Written Word, Pt. 2 (1203)

In this program Sonia Sanchez returns as guest host and adds her own unique flavor to enhance this tribute to Paul Robeson. Artists, including Sanchez, perform written tributes in poem and song as part of a centennial celebration of the birth of Paul Robeson. Young rap artist Razi Miles composed and performed a special rap tribute especially for this program. And well known poet and lecturer Nikki Giovanni talks about Robeson and also performs her poetic tribute.
