Rebroadcast Friday, September 24 at 11:30 pm

“We all have a journey” says 60 Minutes contributor Byron Pitts. His amazing journey, revealed in his new memoir "Step Out on Nothing: How Faith and Family Helped Me Conquer Life’s Challenges," describes his painful struggle to overcome illiteracy and the great people who blessed his life along the way. The problem of illiteracy runs throughout our society. Young children as well adults face daily challenges associated with not being able to read. Pitts sits down with Another View Executive Producer Linda Coles-Kauffman and explains how his shame actually became a source of strength.
