edition enters the arena of mental illness and
explores the effects depression has on the African
American community. During this half-hour we meet
black men and women who have suffered with depression.
In their own words they describe their experiences
with depression and how they found treatment.
The program also includes interviews with experts
i.e Dr. Robert L. Johnson head of Pediatrics and
a professor of psychiatry at the New Jersey Medical
School.
