This
program examines the contributions of blacks in
the Catholic Church. Normally not associated with
Catholicism, more and more blacks are embracing
this faith and finding ways to increase awareness.
Guests discuss the roots of black Catholics in
the world and their struggle to establish a clergy
in the United States. They also talk about the
importance of key black Catholics, traditional
and contemporary practices, as well as their own
personal ties to the catholic faith.
