Summit IV Preview (1413)

In an effort to represent one of the 4 categories covered by the Empowerment Summits, we take a look at Community, Housing and Economic Development. First, a highlight of the Urban League of Metropolitan Trenton, an organization dedicated to providing programs and services to the community. The League has been committed to providing home ownership opportunities to low and moderate income families. There's also a look at their School-Based Youth Services Program, an on-site youth program, which provides a wide range of counseling, medical, and homework assistance to students in Trenton Central High School. Then, the gay and lesbian community speaks out on various issues and struggles affecting their community, including human rights, acceptance, family issues, politics and economics.
