at Princeton University, actress Halle Berry takes
time for a one-on-one interview with Executive
Producer Linda Coles. The University was host
for a conference called "Imitating Life:
Women, Race and Film" for which Berry was
the keynote speaker. Coles talks to Berry about
women and film, her personal connection to the
conference topic, building her career on demanding
roles, and her feeling of acceptance into the
film industry. Her "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge"
project brought her rave reviews and awards. Also
included are clips from her keynote address as
she discusses and gives examples of "the
5 things" she believes are necessary for
black women to make it in the film industry.
