Welcome to the Bookshelf.......where Another View celebrates literature and highlights the African American book market. The "Bookshelf" features published authors whose writings reflect the diversity, the flavor of the African American experience. In recent years, sales of books by African American authors have skyrocketed prompting publishing giants like Doubleday, Random House and Harper Collins to create off shoot companies just to handle them.

We have received dozens of books from a variety of authors with unique stories to tell. Viewers will gain insight to authors whose works cross racial barriers as they touch on themes related to the human condition through fiction as well as non-fiction. You will hear excerpts from the books as well as provocative comments from the authors. In addition, we will direct you to resources where you can find more information about the authors and their works.
