Straight Up: Dialogue on Teen Violence

Secretary of State DeForest B. Soaries speaks to young adults about the benefits of and need to live a Violence-Free life. In this program, Secretary Soaries engages teens in a dialogue to examine the pop/hip hop culture as it relates to violence, vandalism and victimization. The panel of young people includes those who are struggling to avoid being engaged in acts of violence, as well as those who motivate their peers to take personal responsibility for their actions.
