Jerry
Henry

Since
1987, Jerry Henry has been a part of the NJN News Team.
His career began while serving in the Marine Corps,
where he received a broad education in the art and science
of communication.
His television
career began after he was discharged from the Marines
in 1980, when he found his first broadcasting job as
a reporter at a station in South Carolina. He then went
on to develop his skills in both reporting and videography
at stations in Georgia and Tennessee.
Finally,
in 1987, Jerry joined the News Department of NJN, where
he has been reporting on New Jersey's sports scene ever
since. In 1993 he won the Associated Press First Place
Award for sports reporting.
Jerry has
also hosted the NJN public affairs show, Another
View, for which he won two Mid-Atlantic "Emmy"
awards.
