Pocoyo

Pocoyo (Little Me) is a little boy, much like any little boy, who while at play on any given day, spots an object or creature which interests him and suddenly he is engaged in exploration, play, interaction and learning until he understands the new addition to his world. He has three engaging companions, and his puppy, Loula. Pato, Pocoyo’s very best friend, is a shy yellow duck; Elly is a large, yet graceful pink elephant who sports a magical backpack; and, Sleepy Bird, is well, sleepy and a bird.

Pocoyo, already the recipient of two prestigious European awards for children’s programming, is bound to bring a refreshing and engaging change in your schedule’s line-up. The characters are delightful and this animated half-hour targets pre-schoolers who just want to sing, laugh and have fun while watching television.

Each program is carefully crafted to ensure the material and language is both appropriate and relevant to a pre-schooler and it’s seen very much through the eyes of 3-year-old Pocoyo. However, it also introduces a world of fantasy to stimulate the imagination and develop a sense of fun.

Many early learning concepts, such as numbers, shapes, colors and patterns are introduced in an orderly, clear and simple way. Pocoyo and his friends also encounter “everyday” lessons, from finding out what a radio is, to performing a funny dance.
