The Big Band Years
My Music presents its first “Big Band” music retrospective featuring the biggest songs that got us through World War II and kick-started the baby boom with brassy legends that will take you on a sentimental journey. This very warm and nostalgic program compiles the original hit makers and legends who define an era and its memories. Peter Marshall (of the legendary Hollywood Squares) hosts this event which, for the first time, mixes vintage live, rare, and unreleased footage from the Big Band days.

Dr. Wayne Dyer: Excuses Begone!
In Excuses Begone!, his goal is simple but not easy: to help viewers learn how to overcome lifetime thinking habits that keep us from maximizing our human potential. Through Dr. Dyer's process of identifying excuses which are self-defeating, he teaches that we can choose our way of thinking. And, just because something has "always seemed to be the way it is" for most of us, there is a wealth of research that now points to a human being's ability to change these habits – which really translate into our excuses – and move into new realms of possibility.

This program reunites original legends of rock’n’roll for a once-in-a-lifetime performance. Hosted by pop music legends Frankie Valli, Jerry (The Iceman) Butler and Lloyd Price, the program also boasts a surprise appearance by Little Richard. Among the many performers is Fred Parris, who comes out of retirement after a decade to join the Five Satins in a performance of “In the Still of the Night,” the number-one oldies single of all time. Hal Miller joins the Rays after 40 years of retirement to sing “Silhouettes”; and Kathy Young is reunited with the Innocents to sing “A Thousand Stars” for the first time since they recorded the hit when Young was just 14 years old.
