Lidia Bastianich Lecture at Liberty State Park – Watch it here!
They (The Catholic Charities) found this little house – right on the edge of North Bergin – a little house – a simple house . . . we lived there for about eight months – so my first residence in the United States was right here. I did attend Sacred Heart School – I think it’s right there on Kennedy Boulevard.
And, with that down-to-earth start, Lidia Bastianich captivated her audience. A charming storyteller, Lidia talked a little bit more about her life and then went on to talk about the subject we all know and love her for – the delectable cooking that comes from the heart and soul of Italy.
This was the first lecture in NJN’s Liberty Lecture Series held at Liberty State Park. If you missed the lecture, you can watch it below.
