Burt Wolf, the host of the public television series Travels & Traditions, invites you to travel on a “Burt Sent Me" Tour to San Francisco and Napa Valley. For the past 30 years, television journalist Burt Wolf has been traveling around the world reporting on cultural history, what’s good to eat and drink, and local tourist attractions. In the process he has learned a great deal about where to travel and what to do when you get there. And now he is using that information for a limited number of NJN Public Broadcasting viewers to have the same experiences he had making his television program.
What is the "Burt Sent Me" Tour?
Burt called old friends and people who had been in his television programs and asked them to help plan a gastronomic tour of San Francisco, and Napa Valley. The restaurants, the menus, the wines, the people who guide us, the vineyards we visit, the special locations that welcome us --- every aspect of the trip was planned and tested by Burt. And now we’re making that tour available to a limited number of NJN viewers.
