Raising Readers
You know learning to read is important for kids, but it's hard to know where to start. There are lots of ways to raise a reader beyond just reading a book together. Use the Reading Activity Calendar for making reading a fun, easy part of every day life and participate in the NJN Raising Readers Together Program. Fill in the Raising Readers Together Calendar with the number of books you have read and the amount of time spent reading with your child each day. Mail it back to the station when you have reached 100 minutes to receive a Raising Readers DVD and a small gift. June 2008
