Teachers have the ability to stream or download over 40,000 video content clips and 4,000 full video titles from a wide variety of K-12 academic subjects. All the video content is correlated to New Jersey State standards, and an average of 300-400 new video titles are added annually.

Search capabilities are very sophisticated and varied – search a video library via curriculum standard, keyword, subject area, grade, producer, new releases, or all available titles.

* An independent, scientific evaluation was done by Cometrika, an independent research firm, in 2002. The evaluation involved students from three districts in Virginia, the participation of numerous schools and teachers, and examined two grade levels (third and eighth) and two areas of content (science and social studies). The random assignment design involved a pretest, followed by a month of exposure to at least 30 content-relevant video clips delivered via the unitedstreaming application. A subsequent posttest was administered approximately one month after the pretest. Both pre-and posttests assessed the Virginia Standards of Learning that were taught at all schools (experimental and control) over the period of the study. It included random assignment of classes to either an Experimental Group, those receiving instruction incorporating the unitedstreaming application, or a Control Group, those receiving instruction without exposure to the unitedstreaming application. A summary of the results shows that the Experimental Group students’ improvement exceeded Control Group students’ improvement by an average of 12.6%.
