The Annenberg Media is produced by the Annenberg Foundation and is dedicated to advancing excellent teaching in American classrooms. This mandate is carried out in a variety of ways including the distribution of educational video programs with coordinated Web and print materials for the professional development of K-12 teachers. Through NJN’s Digital Classroom portal, New Jersey schools have access to 1100 hours of Annenberg professional development programming. These programs are organized into courses in the following groups:

• Literature and Language Arts
• Mathematics
• Each video comes equipped with background material including:

• Teacher Notes (ideas and observations to help teachers apply the lessons from the Program to the classroom)
