Kenneth R. Breland, Bombardier/Navigator

This is a photo of my brother, T/Sgt. Kenneth R. Breland, being awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross by Col. Henry Dalton, Commanding Officer of the 12th Bombardment Group in about September 1944 at their base in Feni, India. Ken flew 79 combat mission as a bombadier/navigator in B-25’s of the 81st Bombardment Squadron in Italy and the China/Burma/India theater. He is no longer living. The photo was obtained from the National Archives and Records Administration.
