Workshop 2: Show ‘N Tell

Overview

These workshops are designed for teachers to work with students in the classroom.

This workshop helps students to practice their World Wide Web research skills by working in teams to research a topic of interest. General research topics include:
• music
• film
• dance
• literature
• art

Students begin by choosing a general research topic; they then use African-American World and Africana.com as gateway resources. Next, students employ links on these websites to find additional resources [link to African American Word Resources page] on other African-American themed web sites.
