“With new digital technology available to us, it is incumbent upon members of the public and private sectors, representing education, health care, business, government and community affairs, the arts, history and culture to work together and forge innovative partnerships that harness this new technology to benefit our children and citizens.”

Nina Mitchell Wells, Esq., New Jersey Secretary of State

With leadership from Governor Jon S. Corzine, Honorary Chair, New Jersey Office of the Secretary of State, NJN Public Television and Radio (NJN) and more than 20 partners, including the Governor’s Office of Economic Growth, New Jersey Technology Council, and the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, are convening key state stakeholders for the New Jersey Connected Broadband Summit on March 11, 2008, in Trenton, New Jersey.

Over the past several months, NJN has engaged New Jersey’s leaders in business, government, education, health care, emergency communications, the arts and community affairs in an important exchange to explore how New Jersey can maximize the benefits of its extensive broadband assets for its residents, businesses and government.

Visionary public and private sector thought leaders are invited to attend the Broadband Summit to learn about best practices and envision how best to harness the power of broadband technologies for the greater public good, and to advance New Jersey’s economy and overall competitive edge. More>>
