Visit
historic Christ Church in the City of New Brunswick
for a look at their exquisite new pipe organ.
The Richards Fowkes & Co. Opus 12 instrument
was designed in a decidedly old style. It is both
a musical and visual work of art. Hear organist
Mark Trautman play the hand-made, mechanical organ,
similar to instruments from the time of J.S. Bach.
Meet organ builder, Bruce Fowkes, who explains what
makes the mechanical organ such an expressive instrument,
and how the instrument was especially designed for
the acoustics and architecture of the historic Christ
Church.
For more information on the history of the church
and upcoming musical events or services, call (732)
545-6262 or visit their website at www.forministry.com/08901cce
