My Love
From an American Student
You may
come home, your house feeling empty
After your loss, life may not seem worth living
But your home will always be full of life
The love you gave, the tears you shed together
The laughter you shared echoes on forever
They may be gone, but their spirit lives on
In the house you made a home
In the photo albums where the pictures speak volumes
They live on in your heart, in your memories
As long as they are not forgotten, they will live on
Find solace in this time of outrage among friends
Find comfort in family in this time of grief
Find support and peace with whatever
god you worship in this time of turmoil
There will be happiness someday and trouble don't last
always
The storm will pass after while and life must go on
Be strong, have faith
You can make it
If not for yourself, then for them
Shed your tears, erect monuments in their honor
Lay down flowers in their memory
Know that you have a friend and I share
grief in the wake of this tragedy
I love you, and so does God
