Susan Head joined Wachovia, formerly First Union, in 1981 where she serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Charitable Advisor in New Jersey. Her responsibilities include the administration of corporate and private foundations.
Susan is a Certified Financial Planner who helps the not for profit client explore which charitable giving strategies may work best, given the client’s unique set of needs for tax benefits, income, family objectives, etc. The Charitable Services Group manages these assets, as well as the assets of institutional not for profit clients.
Susan received her B.A. from Western Maryland College; her M.A. from Montclair State University; and her M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Susan’s involvements include: Board member of the Independent College Fund of New Jersey; Board member of Trinitas Hospital Foundation; Steering Committee of Morris County for the Community Foundation of New Jersey; Advisory Committee for the ARC of Essex County; and the Planned Giving Committee for United Way of New York.
