NJN Foundation Honors Community Leaders
At 2010 NJN Benefit Celebration at The Palace at Somerset Park
Thursday, June 3, from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm
STATEWIDE – Their contributions to New Jersey’s communities are infinite; their tireless energy and generosity are legendary; their efforts and accomplishments have touched many lives. This year, the NJN Foundation honors five distinguished Garden State residents at the NJN Annual Benefit Celebration: Dennis M. Bone, President, Verizon New Jersey; Raymond G. Chambers, United Nations Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Malaria; Kathleen DiChiara, President and CEO of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey; Dr. Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, President and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; and Barbara Fulton Moran, arts community leader and the former Executive Director of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, New Jersey State Museum, and the New Jersey Cultural Trust. The goals and aims of these honorees align closely with NJN’s commitment to promoting the health and well being of New Jerseyans by providing programming and services that nourish the mind, body and spirit.

The NJN Foundation’s Annual Benefit celebrates and promotes the very best of New Jersey and raises significant funds to support NJN Public Television and Radio, New Jersey’s public media network.
