The competition, now in its fifth year, is an outreach program of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and consists of a series of interscholastic tournaments promoting academic excellence and teamwork among high school students.
The Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey Regional Championships will be broadcast on NJN on Tuesday, June 3; Wednesday, June 4; and Thursday, June 5, respectively at 1:30 pm with a rebroadcast at 6:30 pm. The statewide championship airs on NJN on Sunday, June 8, at 6:30 pm., with a rebroadcast on Monday, June 9 at 1:30 pm.

Teams in the Northern Regional Championship are: Morristown High School, Livingston High School and Tenafly High School. The Southern Regional Championship competitors are: Monsignor Donovan High School of Toms River, Steinert High School of Hamilton and West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North.
