In Remembrance
of September 11 - Port Authority September 11th Memorial
Service
NJN provides live broadcast of the Port Authority of New York
and New Jersey September 11th Memorial Service at the Riverside
Church in New York City. Eighty-four Port Authority employees
were killed in the terrorist attacks that destroyed the World
Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Both Governor James McGreevey
and New York¹s Governor George Pataki plan to participate
in this moving ceremony.
Thursday, September 11, at 2 pm; rebroadcast at 9 pm.
9/11: How
We¹ve Changed
It has been said that all Americans were forever changed by
the events of 9/11/01. Have we changed forever? How are we
different now? How are we the same? This special, hosted by
NJN¹s Sandra King, addresses this sensitive issue.

The Record Examines Statewide Security Issues
Attorney General Peter Harvey, Office of Counter-Terrorism
Director Sidney Caspersen and State Police Superintendent
Col. Rick Fuentes are the guests on a special On the Record
hosted by senior political correspondent Michael Aron. This
program focuses on the state¹s efforts to improve security
and response to a terrorist attack as we approach the second
anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United
States.
