Andrea Cummis

Andrea Cummis was appointed to the NJPBA Board of Commissioners by Governor Jon Corzine with the approval of the New Jersey Senate in November, 2007.

Andrea holds a 20+ year record of achievement at senior levels of broadcast engineering, operations, and technology. She has served as Senior Vice President of engineering and operations at Oxygen Media and Director of Network Engineering and Operations for USA Networks. Andrea was the Manager of Systems Implementation for the 1992 Summer Olympics and the systems design engineer for NBC News for the 1988 Summer Olympics. She is a national board member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) and holds Certified Technical Operator (C.T.O.) and Certified Broadcast Technician (C.B.T.) certificates from the SBE. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon, a Master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, and an Executive Juris Doctorate (EJD) in law and technology from Concord Law School.
