Gabriella E. Morris, Esq.

Gabriella E. Morris joined the NJPBA Board of Commissioners in June 1996, and joined the NJN Foundation Board in 2000. Gabriella served as Chair of the NJPBA Board of Commissioners from 2000 through 2004. In 1994, she was elected president of The Prudential Foundation and corporate vice president for the Community Resources Unit of The Prudential Insurance Company of America. In these roles, she oversees foundation grantmaking Prudential's social investment program; and Prudential's employee volunteerism and community relations. Her responsibilities include oversight of the company's Community Initiatives Division.

Morris serves on the board of trustees of the Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Newark, Inc.; the Princeton-Blairstown Center; Kean University; the Independent Sector; the Women's Board of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center; New Jersey Multi City LISC; and the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater Foundation.

She graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Architecture and Urban Planning and a certification in African-American studies. Morris received her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. (January 2005)
